What they say about Ian and weddings...
"His attention to detail was great and ensured that there were no last minute hitches. I certainly would not hesitate to recommend him."
Alyson P, Stratford-upon-Avon
"Ian has put an enormous amount of time and effort to make the wedding ceremony very personal and tailored it to reflect our personalities! Very ambitiously he has learnt a few lines of the script in Polish and Welsh to involve all guests present at the wedding and was crucial in sorting out the last moment items before the big day. I have no hesitation to recommend him as a wedding celebrant."
Kasia & Miles S-P, Anglesey
"Ian was very professional and everybody commented on his wonderful service. Ian made us feel at ease from when we met him. The whole day was amazing. We will have memories for years to come."
Lisa and Nigel M, Cheshire
Ian is a proud member of the Association of Independent Celebrants (AOIC) following qualification with a National Open College Network/Ofqual regulated Level 3 Certificate in Civil Celebrancy in the UK through the Fellowship of Independent Celebrants (FOIC).

Firstly, congratulations on your upcoming celebration! Whatever life event you are planning be it a wedding, civil partnership, commitment or renewal of vows ceremony there are so many options to explore!
Unlike a formal civil ceremony in a registry office or an approved premises (such as a hotel), engaging a wedding celebrant gives you even more freedom to express how, when, and where you wish to celebrate each other's love and what can be included. Really importantly, there are virtually no limits to where and when your celebration can take place.
Your ceremony is one of the biggest days of your life and the stresses and strains that this can bring are understood! Whilst declaring or renewing your love to one another may seem a small part of your whole day it is actually the most important!
Your ceremony can now include a greater involvement of your friends and family, the inclusion of live music, poetry, religious, non religious readings and mini rituals. These can include a loving cup ceremony, sand mixing, jumping the broom and hand fasting (which is where the phrase tying the knot originates) to name but a few.
It’s really important to Ian that your ceremony reflects yours and your partner's personalities and beliefs - however 'conventional' or 'unconventional'. Getting to know you is essential in Ian helping you make decisions on what’s right for you. That’s why, from the very first moment we'll work closely together to plan your perfect ceremony. No detail is too small and the only limit is our imagination as to what can be included - so long as its legal!
You may not be aware that celebrants can’t legally marry couples, however this is easily overcome by having a small and formal ceremony that covers the legalities at your local registry office prior to your big day. Ian can guide you through this part.
You might be wondering how much this all costs? There's a range of packages to suit your needs, all of which are on the pricing page of this website.
I hope this has given you a flavour of what a wedding celebrant can bring to wedding and civil partnership ceremonies. Ian has had the pleasure of sharing in other couple's happiness as you can see in his reviews.
You will probably have lots of questions and Ian is happy to answer them so please drop him a message using the contact form at the bottom of the home page or, better still, call him for an informal chat.
